MIGHT NOT HAVE BEEN RIGHT CANDIDATE, BUT MESSAGE AT END OF VIDEO CLIP IS RIGHT

AMERICAN PRESIDENTS AND THEIR ADMINISTRATION'S IMPACT ON MUSLIM COUNTRIES

I realize that it is easier to sit on the sidelines after the game has been played, but this is our history and I wish that we could learn from it rather than play to support our team, regardless of how wrong that they are in a given situation. America is a very unique country and, in some cases, we are no longer providing the example to the world. Rather than play to our strong suit, we are heading into a transnational country which discards what made us great so that we can be more like the countries who used to admire what we had achieved regardless of whether they liked us or not.

Jimmy Carter undermined Iranians and Muslims lost freedom to Khomeni. Now, in 2009, they are being attacked for wanting more freedom and looking to theUS for support. It is complex, and once you have stood by and watched a country fall into the hands of a tyrannical regime, there is no easy way back. The decisions made during the Carter administration are being paid for with the blood and tears of the current generation. Maybe we should apologize for this genuine abandonment of the Iranian people.
To make matters worse, Carter supports HAMAS as a victim, ignoring the fact that they create a wasteland in the same area that Israel creates an envied oasis of thought and prosperity. Each gets what they go after and Carter is either still very naive or he has a motive which is not obvious to me. Might have something to do with thePalestinian phonebanks supporting the Obama campaign.

Ronald Reagan retreated from Lebanon

George Bush freed Kuwait after Iraqi invaision
allowed the Shiite to have the impression that the US would back them and, when they rose up, stood by while they were slaughtered. Another genuine apology moment and a missed opportunity.

Bill Clinton Bosnia defending the Muslims from genocide
Created a change of regime policy for Iraq

George W. Bush freed people of Afghanistan and Iraq and stood firm on his mission to help give them the opportunity to provide themselves with a democratic government in the face of incredible odds because he was attacked by Al Qaeda using Iraq as a recruiting ground for new Jihadists and the American government shouting that the people would not be able to create and democracy or vote, the American army was broken and all kinds of political antics. It was a good thing that he was not a poll driven politician or American would have proved Osama bin Laden's observation that Americans do not have the will to fight as correct.
Libya gave up WMDs and the Lockerbye hijackers during the Bush administration, but that is not something that plays well and I doubt the WIIers even know it.

Barack Obama Let us HOPE for CHANGE

The written message at the end of the video linked below after the soldier's testimonial about what Americans should not apologize for is still right on
