CHECK THE MATH - IT IS A FLASHING RED LIGHT & SIREN

It is simple to check the premise of the presentation linked below this paragraph and to do the math - no calculator needed, just common sense.  Is it better to feel like we are a good, compassionate country as we fall into an age old trap or to honor our Founding Fathers by using the protections which they gave US and the warnings which they wrote to protect US from soft tyranny?

"In general the art of government consists of taking as much money as possible from one party of the citizens to give to the other" - - Voltaire (17 64)

The math doesn't add up and that is why we were created as a Representative Republic - men are not angels.  This destructive strategy has gone on for a very long time.  Note the decline of America as an example of what a free people can accomplish verses the graph of dependency presented in the linked presentation above.  There is a way to reverse it.   The decrease in our position on the economic freedom index

gives a reason why we have yet to recover from this recession, just as FDR's policies prolonged our recovery from The Great Depression.  The government collects less revenue as it increases regulation and tax rates.  “I say after eight years of this Administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started. ... And an enormous debt to boot!”  -- Henry Morgenthau Jr.—pal, lunch companion and loyal secretary of the Treasury to President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

"The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced. If the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt, people must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance." -- Marcus Tullius Cicero, 55 BC     Quotation #23141 from Rand Lindsly's Quotations

The promotion of dependency is an assault on America using the well intentioned, naive American as a weapon against a unique form of government.  Cloward and Piven, contributors to the Progressive strategy, suggested increasing demands upon the system to the point of creating such a financial crisis that the government can be transformed into a collective form.  We have more warning of this now than we did of the Fannie-Freddie 2008 collapse and that was predicted years before it happened.

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away men’s initiative and independence.
You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.—Abraham Lincoln

The acceptance speeches of Reagan and of Obama gave US a preview of the results of their term in office.  Our country’s future depends upon US holding our leaders accountable.

“We should measure welfare’s success by how many people leave welfare, not by how many are added.” - Ronald Reagan

Is there any explanation for the nationwide, aggressive campaign to recall Governor Scott Walker after he turned Wisconsin around other than the Collective care more about their power than the pain and suffering their fight to keep power inflicts upon the people?
