WHO CARES ABOUT AMERICA'S WORKERS?

How much do we care about our fellow Americans who are out of work? We are all affected by this issue because employment produces collected tax revenue which supports public employees and pays the necessary overhead of government. It affects every one of US from new born to retired right now and in our future. I care enough ot watch both sides and objectively analyze the solutions offered? We have that opportunity with the

10-2-10 RALLY

I will be challenging what I believe as a Conservative who looks at this much manpower and money and wonders why they do not take all of that manpower and the money those groups control and form businesses to compete against the “Rich People” businesses one at a time which, if they are right would snowball. I am a firm believer in Hayek over Keynes and so far believe that history bears out that conclusion as I see Cuba and Russia laying off public employees. I have no idea what the message will be at this rally, but there is a huge rally by the Left which is supported by groups including the Unions and Communist Party USA described by One Nation as, “This movement includes human and civil rights organizations, unions and trade associations, nonprofit organizations, youth and student groups, religious and other faith groups, educational, peace, environmental, and ethnic associations, and any other groups and individuals who are committed to pulling our country back together now.

We have been warned by several sources from world news to the United Nations which has issued two reports on the employment problem worldwide and the resulting unrest which is predicted. Do we want to choose a way which avoids unrest in America? There is an article with links to the reports at

TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE

American workers are still unemployed in incredibly large numbers for a long period of time inflicting:

1. decreased ability to make mortgage payments and keep their home, much less cover their cost of living

2. a lack of access to employer connected health insurance – I favor portable non-employer connected health insurance, but employer connected is immediately available

3. diminishing skills and attitude

4. lower collected tax revenue driving up national debt and jeopardizing the entitlements currently in effect

5. and certain groups are singled out

Delphi workers are shut out as UAW workers are given a Health Care Tax exemption for Cadillac Health Insurance and their pension plans are protected with tax dollars

Andrew Breitbart questioned an entire group of protestors about their level of knowledge and ended up with a discussion with two protestors at a meeting where he was scheduled to speak. He found two rational people in the group, but this points out the need to be in rational debate rather than emotional, bumper stickers types of labels. Formulating a strategy, monitoring the results and correcting course deviations is basic management and our economic strategy results without addressing things like Fannie – Freddie appear to need some tune ups.

What would you do is a fair question and my answer is more involved, but based on the ideas in the following three videos and my faith in the American individual who, unfettered by overwhelming government controls such as the Health Reform requirement for business to 1099 anyone paid over $500.00 which diverts time and money from production to subservience. Seems to me that that requirement increases the need for psychiatric care of American Producers to deal with the frustration inflicted by a clueless or sadistic beauracracy.

This man employs people who have health insurance and makes a very simple suggestion. He is also expanding his foreign operation because China is more predictable than the USA at this time. That is the reason that business people who want to expand and make more money, but cannot forecast with any certainty in a time when Congress fails to create a budget and make a decision on the Bush tax cuts are not expanding and employing people..

Look at the following video and ask why we have a climate of diminished American business activity with an anti – business attitude by groups which have the talent and money to compete, but choose to be parasitic instead. Ask yourself why we would have a moratorium on Gulf oil exploration by Americans as we fund Mexico to do what Aemrican workers are prohibited from doing. We have also backed George Soros/Petrobras for Brazilian oil exploration while American workers are kept down. WHY?

We have American workers unable to get employment and there is reason. The two very different philosophies create TWO VERY DIFFERENT RESULTS.
