We have a democratic country protecting itself from lifetime dictators with a constitutional term limit of one and a requirement for congressional approval of a referendum. Chavez, with a low tolerance for disent in Venezuela, printed and shipped the ballots for Zelaya to have an illegal referendum. Zelaya fired the head of the military when he would not implement the referendum. Mona Charen wrote, "There was an attempted coup in Honduras, but it was Zelaya who initiated it, not his opponents." This is not like watching sports teams compete and feeling sad when your team doesn't win. This affects our security and the future of our country which we will bequeath our grandchildren. where I propose two ABSOLUTELY GENERAL-NON PARTISAN DEFINITIONS OF THE PEOPLE WHO WILL HELP DESTROY THIS COUNTRY
They are the uninformed, apathetic voters who choose a limited source of information. We would do best for our country if we could be informed of what really is happening and rationally define the issues. We do not have to agree, but we must choose the end result for our country and align to fanatically pursue achieving that goal. There are too many people in politics looking out for their self interest as evidenced by the February stimulus bill which satisfied a lot of non-immediate desires of politicians, but did not provide private sector quick, long term employment opportunities. I feel insulted that the politicians who rushed it through without the promised review time or reading the bill and even put it in written form rather than searchable electronic form believe that I cannot see what is happening. Regardless of your party affiliation or political beliefs, we have channels which program us if we do not look for information outside of them. Ziglar took the Republican point of view and did a poll which he documented in Media Malpractice. He challenged his critics to the same poll by the same polster of Republicans and offered to pay for it if the results were the same, but not if they showed better informed voters. This is a nebulous area with a lot of variables, but the underlying problem it displays is what is creating the nation which we have - guided by people with interests other than the best thing for our country. How do we have a majority of the people become better informed and guiding the country for the long term good instead of putting it on the road that California traveled to get where it is?

America quickly, as opposed to our Iranian disident lack of support, went beside those who would spread the anti-capitalist dictator control throughout the south of us. The Honduran constitution is a result of that country not wanting what they have seen in history. Americans are watching our country with a subtle imitation of the Zelaya evolve into a different country. Several of my liberal relations discount the danger which ACORN and Americore present, but I was a real estate investor during the early days and the tactics are the implementation of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals and Cloward Piven Strategy to replace capitalism with socialism. This should be obvious with the bombardment of social reforms being rushed when possible through before the political agenda becomes so obvious that they lose the political power to implement it.

We are maintaining our dependence on foreign oil by denying drilling and nuclear power expansion at a rate which would minimize the window for our enemies to bring us to our knees as China replaces our consumers with their own people and can then use the power of our debt which they hold to financially cripple us. I am not an economist, but this seems like a very likely possibility.
The Imprimis adaption of Sarah Palin's August speech on a cruise ship gave us a heads up and the plan for protecting our country and stimulating our economy. We could still allow Alaska to do that for our country and Palin is no longer going to be in power. Her suggestion should be considered.
