LET US SHARE THE REWARDS AND PENALTIES OF OUR GOVERNMENT'S ACTIONS WITH THOSE WHO MANAGED IT

This is a non-partisan idea for the betterment of America!!!!

In the business world, a managment level person receives bonuses for good performance and gets fired for bad performance. There is a very basic relationship when a company's survival is tied to performance. A joint venture partner will often receive compensation for operating a venture, but not share in returns until the original investment is returned to the investors and then the profit is shared. The politicians do not appear to have any concept of this structure which works well as long as the business is not on life support from an outside source. The politicians have a POLITICIAN EXEMPTION which allows them to put the country in the toilet and do anything which they can get away with to enrich or empower themselves and they still receive full benefits.

We pay our politicians salaries in excess of $150,000.00 and give them excellent health care plus a good retirement. They receive this compensation package plus a number of other benefits, including connections to increase their power and wealth regardless of the damage which they do to our country. Why in the world would we not make them accountable by having them share in what they create????

I have started a cause on Facebook at

http://apps.facebook.com/causes/339555?m=96aaaf39

REWARD PEFORMANCE - PENALIZE DAMAGE
Reward our government people for success and penalize them for failure - HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE!!!

This cause DOES NOT COLLECT MONEY and has the brief statement of
Positions:
1. At least the president, vice president, senators and representatives, referred to as "the Group" create what we, the people, live with in America
2. Create categories such as fiscal, health, +++ to monitor and parameters to measure performance of the legislature in managing our country
3. Make salaries and retirement a function of a formula using the parameters to reward or punish performance
4. Create a tiered relationship between the health care which the Group receives and the American people receive
5. Create an IRS provision to apply a surtax to assets acquired after taking office at a rate inversely related to the performance from 0% to 50%

I am very preliminary in this and I am a lightweight who does not possess the time, money or expertise to pull this off by myself, but it is so obvious that our country has allowed our politicians to be the EXEMPT CLASS and they distract with their class warfare and partisan bickering while they enjoy their exempt benefits. How many politicians who created this are unemployed? What is the status of the investigations into the FannieMae/FreddieMac debacle that makes Enron look like chump change and help put America on the down slide? Do they know that we are manipulateable fools by the results of their enjoyment of the exemption?

I will better define what and how we measure performance and develop formulas as this proposal evolves.

I just did this today because I have been whining to friends about this concept forever and watching America making good time in the wrong direction. I decided that it is time to quit whining and do something or shut up and go along.

The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing. Albert Einstein

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Albert Einstein

“Whoever you are, you who are hearing me now, I am speaking to whatever living remnant is left uncorrupted within you, to the remnant of the human, to your mind, and I say: There is a morality of reason, a morality proper to man, and Man’s Life is its standard of value.” -- Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Rand

"It stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there's someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice, speaks of slaves and masters. And intends to be the master." --novelist and philosopher Ayn Rand (1905-1982)

My into comment on Facebook was: I am tired of listening to me whine about the performance of the managers of our country and watching the Big Business/Big Union/Politicians and people like Soros who profit from economic problems build their money machines while they instigate aurguments between the Left, Right, Illegal Aliens, Space Aliens and whatever other diversion which they come up with to keep us from seeing what they are doing. I have no idea how I am going to do this, but I love my country more than I fear the consequences and it is time for me to do something. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I offered my factsforreality.net website out a long time ago because I didn't have what I needed to do it justice. That is another project with two components: 1. Letters to grandchildren asking them how they like the country which we left them and telling them that there were two schools of thought on how it should be governed - I hope that I was just a paranoid old man.
2. Facts only to define and measure - there is to much obfiscation and Orwellian redefinition to the point that a lot of us distrust our government who no longer views us as their employer. We are not lab rats for experiments. I want define areas which we need to understand and monitor facts, especially data to correct our course should we steer off course from our objective.

WE ARE VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE HAD OBAMA ELECTED IN THIS LAST ELECTION - Join us and help to ensure liberty and prosperity for the future of America!

"It is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth -- and listen to the song of that syren, till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? ... For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it might cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it." --Patrick Henry

There are two very different schools of thought on how Amererica is best structured and the responsibility of the citizens. The election of Obama with a congressional majority gives us a chance to measure the value of one school of thought. The fact that there are complaints about the lack of Republican support raises the question of how good do the Democrats feel about something which they can pass without Republican support. Why, if you are really good with what you are doing, would you not say, "This is the great thing which we did for you the people!" instead of trying to make it look like, "The Republicans thought that it was a good idea also."? Do politicians normally share the glory?

I see some reports that the protests are not real and that the protestors are "mean". I can look back at clips of the Democrats, proclaiming that dissent is patriotic and I do agree with them. Bush commented that Cindy Shean protesting him was evidence of America's greatness - kind of a presidential attitude which I appreciate. Progress will only be made if we develop a way to:

1. clearly define the facts

2. define the parameters which measure what we want to discuss

3. agree on a program to accomplish something

4. implement the program and monitor the parameters

We see this type of thing done in marketing the programs which are put into a bill, but no one appears to be using the procedure to create the programs and to read the bills created by ????. Just one example which seems beyond belief obvious to me, but an incredible number of people appear to not recognize it - hence my two definitions of the mentality of some American voters at http://factsforreality.net/ . "You can always count on Americans to do the right thing - after they've tried everything else." -- Sir Winston Churchill (1874 - 1965) We, if it weren't so incredibly serious, would laugh at the way that the governmment runs the MediCare/MediCaid, FannieMae/FreddieMac (where is the investigation into this disaster?), Social Security, the Post Office and on and on. Is our solution to the healthcare program better accomplished by creating a new, massive change or fixing some of the issues with our current healthcare program to create the ability to effectively handle the issues at a more doable level instead of one which could be catastrophic if it is implemented like the other government programs. Global warming was renamed climate change when the forums kept getting frozen out and it started to appear a little ludicrous to be worried about warming. The Health Care Reform become Insurance Reform when public opinion ceased to heavily support it. Does CAP have analysis for how things will work implementation and fiscally or do the do marketing? I have not taken the time yet to find out.

The country is better seved by having clarity and accountability and that is the goal of the group linked below. I have proposed that the salary, benefits including retirement and healthcare of congress people be indexed on the country's performance - this is very complex and I am not with all of the time and expertise which I need to run with it. Reward them for good performance and allow them to truly experience our pain for their bad performance. Allow them to keep complex IRS codes by having a tax rate on assets acquired after they take office which is inversely related to performance of the country. That way, we would have the retirees watching out for us as well as themselves. The one time that you can count on someone to look out for you is when they will benefit or suffer if you do. Let us also have a source for each part of a bill so that we can properly reward them for supporting what we believe or replace them for going against our interests.

Talk is cheap - share the performance results with the people whose life you affect congress people.

WHICH SIDE WOULD YOU EXPECT TO HAVE CREATED THE FOLLOWING SET OF RULES? - THIS INDICATES WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE ARE WELCOME AND WHO IS NOT WELCOME - WE NEED PROGRESS NOT A VENTING OUTLET

PLEASE JOIN OUR MOVEMENT!!!Join us and help to ensure liberty and prosperity for the future of America!

"We shall not grow wiser before we learn that much that we have done was very foolish." F. A. Hayek

My 11th grade history teacher in 1959 or 1960 told the class that you can never get anywhere by being against something. Let us define what we want more clearly and unite to make America the great country it can be by affirming the good which we do and committing to do more of it.

Let us cease to have the discussion that Bush brought the largest national debt to GDP since WWII as an answer to a complaint that Obama has created the largest national debt to GDP ratio since WWII. Take a breath, step back and ask yourself, "WHAT IN THE HELL AM I THINKING?" Several conservatives applauded the defeat of TARP I and condemned Bush for his fiscal irresponsibility. I have often stated that I feel that borrow and spend is worse than tax and spend and that the Democrats were at least honest when they raised taxes and awakened the people who paid taxes. I have now revised my thinking and, not to be outdone, the Democrats whow that Bush cannot hold a candle to them in the borrow and spend arena. They have backdoored some taxes, but I believe that they look at income tax increases as the desert for their feast. Has our country benefited from this waste of intercourse? Should we do more of what doesn't work and expect different results - Einstein's definition of insanity or should we heed Winston Churchill's admonition that, "They who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it."

I do have hope, but if there is not change in how we govern our country, we will end up hopeless. Let us go for what is good for the country so that each of us has an opportunity to enjoy a strong, safe, prosperous, healthy America.

IS THIS A KARL ROVE ISSUE?

I am copying the complete Hugh Hewitt - Townhall blog entry into my blog because this issue is of major consequence. David Axelrod is one of the main people in the Obama group and we were told that there would be no lobbyist and typical government corruption. We saw Walpin put by the wayside because he uncovered corruption with a friend of Obama's in AmeriCorp. There is a call for ACORN to be investigated as a criminal enterprise. There is a Facebook group called Back to Dollars - Government vs Business which has a paragraph describing the coalition of Politician/Big Business executives/Union management building a very powerful, well entrenched machine - a paragraph points out one of the paradoxes of the candidate who represents the common people - Ever wondered why so many REALLY rich people tend to support the Democrat party? Ever wondered why Goldman Sachs funneled so much money to Obama’s campaign? For the politically well-connected, there comes a point at which there’s more to gain from dealing with Big Government—at their competitors’ and taxpayers’ expense—than from supporting the platform of liberty and limited government that appeals to honest, politically unconnected individuals.

David Axelrod's Very Big ProblemPosted by: Hugh Hewitt at 6:27 PM
The allegations in this Bloomberg story --if true-- pose a huge problem for a senior advisor to the president, David Axelrod. This is the heart of the problem:
Axelrod was president and sole shareholder of AKPD from 1985 until he sold his interest after Obama’s victory, government records show. The firm owes Axelrod $2 million, which it’s due to pay in installments beginning Dec. 31. Axelrod’s son, Michael, still works there. He didn’t return a phone call. The firm’s Web site continues to feature David Axelrod’s work on the Obama campaign. (Emphasis added.)The problem is that Axelrod's former firm is currently receiving huge fees "from Healthy Economy Now, a coalition that includes the Washington-based Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America, known as PhRMA," as well as AARP, the SEIU and other big players in the health care debate. If Axelrod has been negotiating any part of any deal involving any of these players which are funneling money to the firm that owes him money, or if he is advising the president on the deals with any of these groups, that's a conflict of interest. Laundering the money through a "coalition" doesn't remove the conflict much less the appearance of impropriety. The coalition is in effect partially funding David Axelrod's severance package though its members might have done so unknowingly. These forthcoming payments to Axelrod are much more significant than the sort of "retained ties" that Democrats blasted Dick Cheney for vis-a-vis Halliburton even though there was no high level negotiations between the vice president and his former company.David Axelrod has some tough questions to answer, and according to Politico's Mike Allen, Politico's Ken Vogel will be publishing more on matters Axelrodian tomorrow. (Thetranscript of my interview with Allen will be posted here later tonight.) Vogel's story on Axelrod's son from a few days back casts doubt on the Bloomberg story's accuracy as Bloomberg has Axelrod's son still at Axelrod's old firm, but Vogel has him at The Huffington Post. If it was Karl Rove in a similar set of circumstances, the blogs and some in MSM would already be demanding a special prosecutor. There are lots of questions for Mr. Axelrod, the first one being whether the Bloomberg story is accurate. if the answer is "yes," the second will be: "Have you lawyered up?"UPDATE: Ken Vogel just confirmed that his story in tomorrow's Politico delves into this issue and that Axelrod did not respond to Vogel's e-mail on the subject, though he has done so in the past. The transcript of the Vogel interview will also be up later tonight at the transcripts page.Vogel also informed me that Axelrod has two sons, one of whom does indeed continue to work at his dad's old firm which is powered up on health care debate dollars.UPDATE 2: Senator Jon Kyl just expressed surprise when I told him the outline of the story and, without prompting, suggested as I have above that if Karl Rove had been discovered to be in the same situation as David Axelrod, the hounds would be in the hunt already. Of course, this is the Obama-smitten MSM, so it remains to be seen whether any of them start asking the obvious questions. The transcript of my conversation with Senator Kyl will be posted later at the Transcripts page.

IF WE ARE TO BELIEVE THAT THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION CARES ABOUT TRANSPARENCY AND THE GOOD OF AMERICA, CAN WE EXPECT:

Announcing AuditTheFed.com!
From Campaign for Liberty
August 13, 2009Dear Friend of Liberty,As you and I both know, Campaign for Liberty is leading the fight to pass Ron Paul's bill to Audit the Fed. With 282 cosponsors in the House and 23 in the Senate, your efforts have so far proven very successful in establishing large, bipartisan support for Federal Reserve transparency. We've come a long way in demonstrating to the nation that monetary policy is a critical issue, and every day more and more people are waking up to the harm that the Fed has caused our economy. But our mission is not yet complete. There are more Americans to educate, more signatures to collect, and more work to be done to combat the "big guns" that have come out against Ron Paul's Audit the Fed bill. That's why today I'm proud to announce that we've taken the next step in our efforts by launching AuditTheFed.com, a focused, coalition website with one purpose: to push this historic piece of legislation through Congress, past the President's desk, and into law.AuditTheFed.com includes: contact information for your congressman and senators, petitions, widgets, and banners to promote the website, dynamic graphs of the bill's cosponsors, a detailed summary of the Audit the Fed bill, a list of our growing coalition, a blog to keep you up to date on all the latest Audit the Fed news, a sign up for email updates, and social networks to help get the word out online. This website was designed to put you, the liberty-loving activist, in a position to efficiently and effectively promote Audit the Fed to family, friends, neighbors, and strangers alike. This new website is the latest addition to our efforts to Audit the Fed, but it is by no means the culmination. Stay tuned to CampaignforLiberty.com in the coming days for information on how we plan to mobilize to gain not only more cosponsors for HR 1207 and S 604, but support for a vote in the House and Senate. For Liberty,John TatePresidentP.S. If you are able, please consider donating to Campaign for Liberty today to help ensure Audit the Fed becomes law and we can finally bring transparency and accountability to one of our country's most secretive institutions. https://www.campaignforliberty.com/donate.phpwww.auditthefed.com

ARE SOROS AND THE DEMOCRATS PROMOTING RACISM FOR PROFIT?

Over the past year, I have read about George Soros, a brilliant investor who appears to profit from economic crises and who has a passion to change America. I have read several articles which raise a question. Is capitalism funding a group comprised of Soros, some big business people, some big union people and some politicians to either do a hostile takeover (business term) of America or to destroy its capitalist system? Soros is an investor who makes huge profits which none of the liberal anti huge salary people protest and funds organizations like CAP, moveon.org and liberal causes with campaigns which appeal to emotion rather than reason - moveon.org did the General Betrayus full page ad when the General came to the Senate hearing and listened to the all knowing Senators before he went back and successfully executed the surge which these organizations had said would fail. Their current "illusion di jour" is to disregard opposition to their programs as being racist and distract from the factual analysis by appealing to emotions. This apparently works with 12% of the people according to a recent poll about the racist issue. The fact that they oppose a lot of things which seem in keeping with the American culture would be, "That's just one of the great reasons to live in America." The problem is it looks like they are taking our country somewhere else and it does not appear, as evidenced by an awakened electorate, that we want to go there. They are currently promoting racism as the reason for opposition to the administration's agenda. Would they tell you that Walter E. Williams, Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas are racists? What are they distracting us from seeing?

SOROS JOINT VENTURE GROUP?
1. Soros is an integral part of the Democratic party - George Soros supports moveon.org and was one of the funders to create CAP, the Center for American Progress headed by John Podesta which is an analysis, strategy generator and implementer for the Democrats. It is described in the November 18, 2008 Bloomberg -- Three blocks from the White House, on the 10th floor of a sleek glass building, young workers pound at computers, with giant flat-screen TVs overhead. It has the look and feel of a high-tech startup.

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601103&sid=aF7fB1PF0NPg&refer=us

2. Soros has made a lot of money from other people's problems - SorosWatch.com - George Soros' War on the Poor - April 21, 2009 - George Soros told The Australian that the world financial crisis was”stimulating” and “in a way, the culmination of my life’s work.” George Soros also told a Hungarian news agency he was “sincerely sorry” about his fund’s last-minute short sale of bank stock and added, “I no longer oversee the running of Soros Fund Management. I withdrew last year and now only direct deals on my own account.” Was that an, "Oops, I slipped?" reason for the problem it created?

http://www.soroswatch.com/tag/george-soros/

3. Soros profits from decline of American Dollar - The April 4 Bloomberg article linked below points out that Soros bets on the decline of the American dollar. "The market disruptions prompted Soros last year to resume a more active role in managing the $17 billion Quantum Endowment Fund, which provides income for his philanthropic projects. He has bet on declines in the dollar and U.S. and European stocks, and expects increases in foreign currencies as well as Chinese and Indian equities. "

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601091&sid=ayFW7vlhFivM&refer=india

4. Soros puts $35 million of his money with $140 million Stimulus money (targeted, immediate job creation?) to give to school children - taxpayers making the Soros-Obama administration team look charitable with taxpayer debt. Notice whose name is prominent. The New York Daily News August 12, 2009 - "Back to school spree: Billionaire, feds give out $175M to aid neediest students around the state. Read more:"

http://www.nydailynews.com/money/2009/08/12/2009-08-12_billionaire_feds_give_out_175m_to_aid_neediest_students_around_the_state_its_fre.html#ixzz0RERRAHJV
5. Soros invests in a Brazilian oil company - August 15, 2009 Bloomberg -- "Billionaire investor George Soros bought an $811 million stake in Petroleo Brasileiro SA in the second quarter, making the Brazilian state-controlled oil company his investment fund's largest holding. "

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601086&sid=aFHPjfeUvtl8

6. Peak Oil News & Message Boards had a post (which was higher than the $2 billion loan which I saw elsewhere) on August 10, 2009 -- The U.S. government is prepared to provide up to $10 billion in loans to finance the development of massive hydrocarbon reserves off Brazil’s coast, a Brazilian official said Wednesday.

http://peakoil.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=50486

This raises two questions:

a. What is the source of the funds from the US?

b. Why would we back oil exploration which George Soros invested in rather than stimulate our economy by backing the proposal in August of 2008 to stimulate the economy and provide energy independence as reported in the September 2008 issue of Imprimus - "Alaska is already preparing for its next role—providing American consumers with a safe and secure domestic source of crude oil and natural gas. In fact, if energy imports were curtailed completely, Alaska could provide our nation with seven years of crude oil independence and an eight-year supply of natural gas. These are numbers that reflect known and recoverable oil and gas deposits." Do Alaskans not need jobs and America not need energy independence?

ADMINISTRATIONS PATH AND ASSOCIATIONS

A. ACORN CONNECTION:
1. The Chicago CBS news for August 2009 - "The City of Chicago is basically closed for business on Aug. 17, a reduced-service day in which most city employees are off without pay. City Hall, public libraries, health clinics and most city offices will be closed. In addition to reduced service days, all non-union employees were asked to take a series of furlough days and unpaid holidays, and most non-sworn union employees agreed to similar unpaid time off. " Management has room for improvement just as California's management has negated the effects of the real estate and dot com booms.

2. Pittsburg Tribune-Review in an August 22, 2008 article reported, "U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign paid more than $800,000 to an offshoot of the liberal Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now for services the Democrat's campaign says it mistakenly misrepresented in federal reports. "

http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/news/election/s_584284.html

3. An ACORN associate group? funded for presidential campaign work. New York Times October 10, 2008 - "Even before Friday’s conference call, Republicans had made much of an $832,598 payment made in February by the Obama campaign to Citizens Services Inc., a consulting firm affiliated with Acorn.
“This organization is not just related to but deeply ingrained in the Acorn organization, a front group for Acorn,” Mr. Davis said." This was misrepresented according to the next link.

4. The September 16, 2009 edition of the Bulletin, Philidelphia's Family Newspaper ran an article on the campaign connection and the fact that the New York Times spiked the story of a whistleblower about the issue - "A lawyer involved with legal action against Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) told a House Judiciary subcommittee on March 19 The New York Times had killed a story in October that would have shown a close link between ACORN, Project Vote and the Obama campaign because it would have been a “a game changer.” "

5. Michelle Malkin, in an August 22, 2008 post, stated, "There’s much more to the story of Obama’s amended campaign finance reports than what Obama and the Obamedia will tell you. I will fill you in on what’s missing in a moment. What we have here, essentially, is Obama using a non-profit group called Citizens Services Inc. as a front to funnel payments to ACORN for campaign advance work. "

6. Big Government on 9/12/2009 posted an article titled, "Former leftist activist turned FBI informant pulls back the cover on ACORN" - "Though the majority of residents either hadn’t heard of ACORN or simply disagreed with their politics- ACORN insisted that they were THE Black leaders. This was upsetting to me. Sure, the local pastor we worked most closely with was Black; but that didn’t matter to ACORN. "

7. The New York Post September 16, 2009 ran an article on Pimp and Hooker catch Brooklyn staff with references to the other catches - "As in prior videos released by the filmmaking team of James O'Keefe, 25, and Hannah Giles, 20, employees of the group -- which specializes in housing and voter activism -- were eager to dispense advice on gaming the system and skirting the law."

OTHER ITEMS:

1. Kevin Johnson investigation by IG Harold Walpin fired by Obama for uncovering his friend's corruption??? The June 19, 2009 Wallstreet Journal reported - "President Obama swept to office on the promise of a new kind of politics, but then how do you explain last week's dismissal of federal Inspector General Gerald Walpin for the crime of trying to protect taxpayer dollars? This is a case that smells of political favoritism and Chicago rules." and "Obama supporter Kevin Johnson. St. HOPE had received an $850,000 AmeriCorps grant, "

2. Michelle Malkin's blog post on June 26, 2009 discussed the suppression of an EPA report which was counter the administratins intentions - "On March 12, Carlin’s director, Al McGartland, forbade him from having “any direct communication” with anyone outside his office about his study. “There should be no meetings, emails, written statements, phone calls, etc.” On March 16, Carlin urged his superiors to forward his work to EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation, which runs the agency’s climate change program. A day later, McGartland dismissed Carlin and showed his true, politicized "

An interesting point made on another person' blog is "The "Crisis Strategy" can be traced back to the first Communist state under the Russian Bolsheviks. Subsequent refinements developed by the Frankfurt School, Antonio Gramsci and Saul Alinsky and implemented by the American Left through the Democrat Party, have finally borne fruit with the election of Barack Obama, a radical thoroughly schooled in these methods. This strategy will destroy our country as we know it. Time is short. Time to see the truth. Time to get moving."

http://obamacrisis.blogspot.com/2009/09/america-spoke.html

Capitalism is funding the destruction of capitalism in America. The funding of Brazil holding back nucleur and natural resources on shore.
and it becomes obvious to me that this is the mindless chatter created by the Alinsky strategy used so effectively to gain power and create the problems with our country leading up to the financial debacle. There was a claim that the Republicans did not vote for the first TARP because they were throwing a tantrum about Pelosi's unbelieveable pre vote speech on TARP. The Democrats did not need Republican votes to pass it. They had Bush and the power to pass it, but did not want to own the disaster that they knew it could be and yet the lemmings chanted it is just a tantrum. RACISM too is just mindless chatter because the liberals think that the American people are so stupid that they will overlook the potential devastation this type of program could create for America as well as some links below showing what is going on in the background while we get all Wee Weed up about health care.

THE QUESTION IS, "DO THEY WHO CLAIM RACISM AGAINST THE OPPOSITION THINK THAT THERE ARE THAT MAY GULLIBLE AMERICANS OUT THERE?

Testimony to the wisdom of the American voter. Take a politician out of a corrupt machine ruined area and give him more power and influence. This is the Peter Principle to the 10th power. We have seen the liberal philosophy in California and New York and the majority do not listen to those of us who yell out warnings. I was baffled for a long time at the intelligent people who are liberal and vote for more of what doesn't work. I present two definitions of the type of people who support this problem on my factsforreality.net website and point out that I am open to be shown how I am one of them instead of the liberals. We now see a government that thinks running out of money in a give away Cash for Clunkers is a success instead of seeing it as evidence of their inability to analyze and accurately predict how a program will operate. They then want to do a major overhaul instead of fixing existing problems. Insane to think that this is safe during these incredibly dangerous times.

Conservatives see the Obama administration as driving an armored car with the nations wealth in it at a high rate of speed. There are those on the left who are running interference and yelling, "Give him a chance." and "Just listen to him." and those on the right who are called racist by many on the left as they yell, "You might want to check out that cliff ahead." because they see him as making good time down the wrong road.

The Stimulus Bill was passed quickly without review so that we would turn the economy around and not exceed 8% unemployment - Now in the high 9s. Looking at what it has created for employment raises the question, "What if we had not indebted the nation for that amount of money?" I don't see that much in targeted, quickly created jobs and we are doing amazingly well in spite of the lack of them. Where would unemployment be if our priorities had been on small business stimulation? Is it true that the NEA which does Obama Art got more money than small business? I don't know, but it would give us a great insite into this administrations perception of private enterprise, the engine which made America great a long time ago.

I did not come up with the AWFUL administration (AWFUL = Alinsky Warriors Fooling Unknowing Lemmings) to be derogatory. It is meant to convey a very accurate description, if I am correct in my analysis, of the Democracy loving American people having lost a battle and the Whitehouse has been taken over by a group with a totally different philosophy of government. They have assaulted the engine which gave America an incredible advantage over the rest of the world - described in The 5000 Year Leap. I also came up with definitions on my blog to describe the two types of mentallity, mooreon and WIIer which support the enemy in the battle to keep our country. This does not look like just a Democrat thing to me.

I have a Letters to my grandchildren section on my website and this was one of the things during the campaigning which terrified me. What we see depends mainly upon what we look for and the people telling me, "Just listen to him." were intelligent and it baffled me how they could hear and not get the warning. I created the definitions of WIIer and mooreon to describe this baffling occurance at such a high rate. "PLEASE READ WHAT I HAVE WRITTEN AND LOOK AT THE CONDITION OF YOUR COUNTRY. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO LOOK BACK AND JUDGE THOSE WHO CREATED WHAT YOU INHERITED. PLAY TO THE STRENGTHS AND CHANGE WHAT DIDN'T WORK SO THAT YOU GIVE YOUR GRANDCHILDREN AN EVEN BETTER COUNTRY THAN YOU INHERITED. PROTECT THEM FROM HARM. THAT IS YOUR OBLIGATION WHICH I HOPE YOU MEET. I FEAR THAT WE WILL NOT MEET THAT OBLIGATION TO YOU. I TRULY HOPE THAT YOU WILL SEE ME AS A PARANOID OLD FOOL AND ENJOY THE GREAT COUNTRY WHICH MY GENERATION INHERITED WHICH ALLOWED US TO LIVE IN WHAT I PERCEIVED AS LALALAND. JUNE 30, 2009" My letters ramble because they were in rough draft with notes form and not finallized because I work and have other responsibilities which keep me from dedicating the amount of time that I want.

Changing the 911 meaning and significance is beyond belief obvious in mental programming of Americans. I do not understand why we don't have a more public push for the Walpin AmeriCorps corruption investigation put aside, the call for an investigation for ACORN corruption which now appears to be in motion.

I have a cause to tie Congressional pay, retirement healthcare and other benefits to parameters which indicate the health of the country. Politicians get paid incredibly well in spite of the damage which they do to our country. This is a SCREAMING EXAMPLE OF WHY THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT EFFICIENTLY RUN PROGRAMS. There is no incentive to do their job because there is no accountability. Is that as crazy and naive as it appears to me?

Dear Friend, Anyone that's watched the news in the past few days knows that health insurance reform is a hot topic — and that rumors and scare tactics have only increased as more people engage with the issue. Given a lot of the outrageous claims floating around, it’s time to make sure everyone knows the facts about the security and stability you get with health insurance reform. That’s why we’ve launched a new online resource — WhiteHouse.gov/RealityCheck — to help you separate fact from fiction and share the truth about health insurance reform. Here's a few of the reality check videos you can find on the site:
CEA Chair Christina Romer details how health insurance reform will impact small businesses.
Domestic Policy Council Director Melody Barnes tackles a nasty rumor about euthanasia and clearly describes how reform helps families.
Matt Flavin, the White House's Director of Veterans and Wounded Warrior Policy, clears the air about Veteran's benefits.
Kavita Patel, M.D., a doctor serving in the White House's Office of Public Engagement, explains that health care rationing is happening right now and how reform gives control back to patients and doctors.
Bob Kocher, M.D., a doctor serving on the National Economic Council, debunks the myth that health insurance reform will be financed by cutting Medicare benefits. There's more information and a number of online tools you can use to spread the truth among your family, friends and other social networks. Take a look: We knew going into this effort that accomplishing comprehensive health insurance reform wasn't going to be easy. Achieving real change never is. The entrenched interests that benefit from the status quo always use their influence in Washington to try and keep things just as they are. But don't be misled. We know the status quo is unsustainable. If we do nothing, millions more Americans will be denied insurance because of pre-existing conditions, or see their coverage suddenly dropped if they become seriously ill. Out-of-pocket expenses will continue to soar, and more and more families and businesses will be forced to deal with health insurance costs they can’t afford. That's the reality. Americans deserve better. You deserve a health care system that works as well for you as it does for the status quo; one you can depend on — that won't deny you coverage when you need it most or charge you crippling out-of-pocket co-pays. Health insurance reform means guaranteeing the health care security and stability you deserve. President Barack Obama promised he'd bring change to Washington and fix our broken, unsustainable health insurance system. You can help deliver that change. Visit WhiteHouse.gov/RealityCheck, get the facts and spread the truth. The stakes are just too high to do nothing. Thank you, David David Axelrod Senior Advisor to the President

If the essay, Ten reasons why America’s health care system is in better condition than you might suppose. By Scott W. Atlas.

http://www.hoover.org/publications/digest/49525427.html

which discusses the following list of points:

1. Americans have better survival rates than Europeans for common cancers.

2. Americans have lower cancer mortality rates than Canadians.
3. Americans have better access to treatment for chronic diseases than patients in other developed countries.
4. Americans have better access to preventive cancer screening than Canadians.
5. Lower-income Americans are in better health than comparable Canadians.
6. Americans spend less time waiting for care than patients in Canada and the United Kingdom. 7. People in countries with more government control of health care are highly dissatisfied and believe reform is needed.
8. Americans are more satisfied with the care they receive than Canadians.
9. Americans have better access to important new technologies such as medical imaging than do patients in Canada or Britain.
10. Americans are responsible for the vast majority of all health care innovations.
is accurate, a major revamp of the system would be unwise.

There are several less dramatic and potentially disruptive changes that can be implemented in an attempt to improve what we currently have in place.

1. Work with Massachusetts and/or Tennessee who have problems with a government healthcare program to experiment on smaller scale
2. Solve the problems with MediCare/MediCaid to establish a better system which can be scaled up once it is accomplished
3. Implement tort reform to help lower the errors & omissions exposure and unnecessary work to avoid exposure
4. Streamline paperwork requirements to maintain the compliance requirements, but reduce the percentage of a medical professional's time required for compliance instead of patient care
5. Protect medical professional's ability to be rewarded in return for their commitment of time and money to become a medical professional or give them incentives. A heavily regulated medical profession will discourage people from going into the medical profession and lower the ratio of professionals to patients.
6. Allow people to shop for health insurance nationally so that competition creates a better market for the consumer
7. Keep the government out of the competition so that the competative market is not skewed by an entity supported by tax dollars rather than performance.

One of the biggest mistakes which I have seen over the past years is our failure to look at fiscal policies of a state like California which has very good public employee benefits and whose policies are heavily influenced by unions. I concede that there are a lot of variables, but the high percentage of public spending is what the federal government is now increasing and that, along with government spending as a percentage of GDP are two critical indicators of the health of our nation. The nation is not identical to California, but some of the policies affecting those ratios seem like they would be modeled by California.

Tom McClintock warned California long before the current crisis about the impending problems, but no one wanted to do what was necessary at a cost to them. There is a serious issue with private enterprise and government in that they will sacrifice the long term good to look good in the short term and that can create devastating long term results.

http://mcclintock.house.gov/2009/06/tough-love-for-california.shtml

McClintock wrote on June 9, 2009, "Today, California faces a paradox: despite record levels of spending and borrowing, it can no longer produce a decent road system, educate its children, or lock up its prisoners. Those who blame the recession for California’s budget crisis profoundly misunderstand the nature of that crisis. Even before California’s revenue began to shrink, the state government was running a chronic $10 billion deficit and piling up unprecedented debt. The recession is merely the catalyst; the underlying cause is rampant mismanagement of the state’s resources. California spends $43,000 to house a prisoner while many states spend just half that. California spends over $11,000 per pupil, but only a fraction of that ever reaches the classroom. California has one of the most expensive welfare systems in the country and yet one of the worst records of moving people off welfare. "

I like “My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute.” -- Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Rand - Encourage private enterprise and competition without tainting the market with to much government interference and reward success. I cannot believe that collected tax revenue would increase dramatically and it would be from non-public burden jobs.

We would do well to move slowly after a clear definition of reality and analysis of the information rather than moving incredibly fast with a huge volume of unread changes to the way our system functions. I suspect the Trilateral Commission comprised of Politicians, Big Business men and Union Management know more about how some of the changes develop than they would like us to know. Our country is in the shape it is in because the attitude has been, "He may be a crook, but he is my crook." That feels good only until we experience what we currently have and we are sliding over the world economic cliff to a lower position on the ranking of economic powers. The parameters above are what determine the price we pay to borrow money in the international market and the effect of paying borrowing with additional borrowing is like paying credit cards with draws on other credit cards.
